Introducing Linwood Chiropractor Dr. Rocco Santoro
"I just wish I had known then what I know now," admits Dr. Rocco Santoro. "The pain I had lived with for so long could have been relieved by simply calling the chiropractor."
"I had suffered for years with back and sciatic pain associated with two herniated discs. I had done physical therapy for three months with little improvement. I then decided to go see a chiropractor that a friend had referred me to. Within one month of treatment I had 50% improvement in my pain and I was able to get back to doing the things I enjoyed. That was when I began looking at chiropractic as a profession."
Dr. Santoro began his pre-chiropractic education at ACCC where he studied the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with anatomy and physiology courses.
After completing his study there he was accepted to Life Chiropractic College in Marrietta, Georgia. During his four years at Life, courses included biochemistry, physics, major emphasis on human anatomy and physiology, x-ray, diagnostics, spinal adjusting techniques and patient treatment in the Life Clinic. After graduating from Life in 1995 Dr. Santoro entered into an internship in Richmond, Virgina for two years. He then decided to return to southern New Jersey to begin his venture into private practice.
